I've just pushed a branch to our nixpkgs repository called nixpkgs-update, where I've merged in yesterday's nixos-unstable. From here, I'm going to send some patches targeting that branch, until everything builds again and we can merge it back into master. And then we're never going to go this long between updates ever again.
